How do I fix a slipped clutch washer on a Kenmore sewing machine?
After loosening the clutch to fill the thread bobbin, it wouldn't tightened up again. A repair person said the clutch washer probably had slipped and would take one minute to fix. But no one will fix it without doing a complete clean-up for $65-85 dollars. It doesn't need the clean-up, just the quick fix! Can anyone give me step-by-step instuctions?
