before you can drive it
third never buy anything you have to repair before you can drive it
see the way im leading you go find another car ok you can do better but window might cost 150 or so to put in you can look up auto glass in phone book make a call or two get that price as for clutch might cost 1000 to have it put in also you call a few shops and ask
its never smart to buy any car that you know needs work before you can drive it thats plain and simple you buy it and you will be spending money on it every week and it will be in shop more than you drive it that some advice keep looking for one that you can check and drive before you buy it and type into search box

Good oem sachs clutch would be like $200 or maybe $300. Flywheel might be able to be resurfaced if it's thick enough. Cost like $40 at a auto machine shop. If you have it done under $1000 all in all.
Windshield $100 to $120 I would guess.
Worth it? hmm maybe. vw's are know to last but can be costly to maintain. Vacuum door lock problems. Electronic issues. Lube style rear bearings. Some transmission issues in those years. Yet the aba engine is strong and will go for a long time.
