The compression on my truck is so much that it COULD ruin the engine by popping the clutch, is there any other way to get the job done. I don't think so but never know, there are a lot of trick out there.How can you start your car without using a starter and w/o popping the clutch?You could rig up a hand-operated crank on the front, like cars used to use 100 years ago, I suppose. Why is it that the compression is so high again?How can you start your car without using a starter and w/o popping the clutch?if the compression was that high you would ruin your starter or flywheel teeth , not the engine , if the compression is that high just running the engine will ruin the engine , popping the clutch has nothing to do with it, the worst you could do there is the clutch would slip and if it does slip at that low of a speed your clucth would never hold properly hold to drive the vehicle practically.but to answer your question the only way i know to crank it is to put it in gear and tow it, there again if the compression is supposedly that high the clutch will just slip.How can you start your car without using a starter and w/o popping the clutch?if the compression is as high as you say then it would tear the teeth off the flywheel and ruin the starter.How can you start your car without using a starter and w/o popping the clutch?not really tow the vehicle in gear but that does the same as popping the clutch...other than than put an impact on the crank pully bolt but ud have to rig a release mechanism or a ratchet devise or u will kill some 1 not to mention total the vehicle
i suppose a cord wrapped around teh crank pulley or even the flywheel cud pull start it.....but i dont no where ud get sumthing that wud b able to not to mention the problems getting the cord on to start with........
