Please could someone advise me. I have just got the car and the clutch is slipping. Help will really be appreciated!

Thanks in advance. How to adjust the clutch on a Volkswagen Golf GTI 1992 model?I believe this car has a hydraulic clutch which is self adjusting. Need to replace the clutch disk, pressure plate and throwout bearing. You could replace just the disk but most of the time one of the other components will go out shortly. It costs less to replace all components now then having to do a second tear down later to replace the next broken part. How to adjust the clutch on a Volkswagen Golf GTI 1992 model?if the clutch is slipping it needs to be replaced. How to adjust the clutch on a Volkswagen Golf GTI 1992 model?i think the clutch cable is self adjusting. the cable could be bad or it could be clutch failureHow to adjust the clutch on a Volkswagen Golf GTI 1992 model?well check the throw out bearing and clutch master cylinder if the master cylinder seals are worn the pedal will stay pushed down and will cause it to slip
