How do I know if the clutch in my S 10 pickup is going bad?

It seems to go farther to the floor and I'm having trouble getting it into reverse and 5th. I'm not sure if it's the clutch or something else. It's a 1991 and I don't drive it much.How do I know if the clutch in my S 10 pickup is going bad?Sound like you have air in system or leak in system.Clutch master or slave cylinders may developed leak because you don't drive it much.Have you check your fluid level lately?How do I know if the clutch in my S 10 pickup is going bad?Try putting the pickup in first gear at a stop and apply excessive gas if the engine rev's high and the pickup tires do not spin or the pickup does not take off with a lot of thrust then the clutch is slipping you can try and see if it can be adjusted but most likely will need to be replaced,
