How much does it generally cost to replace a motorcycle clutch cable?

I have a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250EX, and the clutch cable snapped off, I have absolutely no idea how to replace it so I need to take it somewhere and have it done, does anyone know how much this costs, and how hard it is to replace? The guys at the motorcycle shop are going to laugh at you. We all will laugh at you if you take your bike to the shop for a clutch cable.



Please just buy the cable and put it in yourself. In a pinch one time, I actually used a bicycle brake cable for a motorcycle shift cable.
