How to get my air conditioning clutch to engage?

I have a 1999 oldsmobile Bravada and I just replaced the Compressor and clutch assembly and the clutch is not engaging. Any tips would be great thanks. How to get my air conditioning clutch to engage?Did you plug the electrical connector back on the compressor? When it's cold outside usually the a/c clutch will not even engage. (I think if it's below 35 degrees). You can also warm the engine up good so the temperature will rise in the engine compartment. Also there is a pressure switch/sensor on one of the lines going to it, you may have to add some refrigerant first before it will start working. Don't forget to check for blown fuses. How to get my air conditioning clutch to engage?did you adjust or use feeler gage for the gap on the clutchHow to get my air conditioning clutch to engage?May be adding refrigerant and oil will helpHow to get my air conditioning clutch to engage?check refr. first. here is the capacity. anything less or more can impact the clutch.
